Notes from the work
A few things we wish people knew before they launch a site
Short reads. No keyword lectures. If you only have ten minutes, start with the last one — don’t send Google to a site that still says “coming soon.”
We write these for the same people who buy the sites: a roofer who needs an estimate form, a landlord with two doors, a baker who just wants the hours right. We’re not selling a course. We’re saving you a week of guessing.
- What a contractor site should show on day one — What you do, where you work, how to ask for a price, and a couple of real jobs. That’s the whole homepage.
- You don’t need property software on day one — What’s for rent, how to ask, house rules, who to call when something breaks. That’s a brochure. That’s enough.
- What we actually do on your server — Your domain, your cheap Ubuntu box, HTTPS, and a login so you can change words. You still pay the host every month.
- Don’t send Google to a half-finished site — Name, email, and address have to be real before you ask search engines to look. Dummy text trains them on the wrong business.
When you’re ready, look at the plans or email us.
